International HERITEX-HUB Workshop ‘Back in Fashion: Textile Heritage and its Contribution for the Future’

On the 14th and 15th of April  the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon hosted the second HERITEX-HUB event , the “International Workshop ‘Back in Fashion Textile Heritage and its Contribution for the Future”.

This workshop, part of the project’s committment to a dialogue with the different prospective stakeholders of the HERITEX-HUB, brought together a range of participants from the creative and the business sectors to discuss how they envision the role of Textile Heritage in the development of their fields and their projects.

The programme included a range of inspiring and thought-provoking presentations on different projects and businesses across Europe, with a strong focus on sustainability, creativity and a commitment to bring Heritage and tradition into the present and the future. This was brought together during the final roundtable sessions, which allowed for a productive dialogue which will certainly bring many interesting fruits in the future.
